Available only in English. Daniel Rodríguez Báez es un artista visual formado como arquitecto en la Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Aunque su trayectoria comenzó en el ámbito de la arquitectura, su camino creativo lo ha llevado a desarrollar una práctica artística centrada principalmente en la pintura, incorporando con el tiempo otras disciplinas. Su obra se caracteriza por el uso del color, las pinceladas geométricas y una exploración constante del espacio, la arquitectura y el paisaje urbano, entendidos como lugares donde se construyen experiencias y relaciones humanas. En los últimos años, ha ampliado su investigación artística hacia la figura humana. A cargo de: Creative Mornings LPA.

Alexis Ravelo Municipal Public Library

Located in the Jesús Arencibia Cultural Space, the “Alexis Ravelo” Municipal Public Library is a meeting place for reading, creativity, and critical thinking in the neighborhood of Tamaraceite. It is named in honor of the Gran Canarian writer Alexis Ravelo (1971–2023), whose literary work stands out for its social commitment, its sharp portrayal of urban reality, and its major contribution to the Spanish crime fiction genre. Among his most acclaimed titles are The Strategy of the Pekingese, The Forbidden Miracles, and the series featuring Eladio Monroy. This space reflects the literary spirit of the author and the cultural vitality of its surroundings, offering the public open access to knowledge and culture. Opening Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
