El Nido is a theatre‑dance performance for all audiences that portrays the transition from childhood to early adulthood. Young people aged 18 to 30 face a complex and uncertain world, staging their questions, hopes and fears in a poetic space that symbolizes the protective home they are leaving behind. Humour, poetry and hope illuminate these “small yet immense human tragedies.”
In El Vuelo, the young protagonists have already left the nest and venture into life and the city. With their wings open, they seek their place in the world while deciding whether to wait for the storm to calm or take the risk of taking off. This itinerant daytime dance‑theatre piece portrays their first steps into the vast outside world, where wind, desire and uncertainty shape the journey. Winner of the 2013 SACD Arts de la Rue Award.
