FRANCA nace de una incomodidad. De ese malestar que persiste y que nos atraviesa como mujeres cuando sentimos que algo no encaja y que tiene forma de desigualdad, de silencio impuesto y camuflado de libertad, de culpa heredada, de patrones que se repiten y de historias invisibilizadas. Me acerqué a los textos de Franca Rame como quien abre un diario antiguo y encuentra que las palabras, aunque polvorientas, arden.
¿Cuantos hemos cambiado realmente? ¿Porqué los relatos que nos construyen siguen cargados de violencia y sumisión?

The new facility that pays tribute to the Gran Canarian painter from Tamaraceite has six different environments distributed over three floors. Its classrooms, spaces for music, workshops or talks, its auditorium (with a capacity for 345 people), the youth area with a library that includes a reading room, study area and rooms for group work, as well as a multi-purpose room for exhibitions, is launched with an active programme that week after week will offer different proposals to the neighbours of the area, those from other neighbourhoods of the city and residents from other municipalities.
