Description
JUANCABALLO is a contemporary dance piece inspired by a popular legend from Úbeda, reimagined through a physical and symbolic lens. Built around the hybrid figure of a half‑man, half‑horse being, the work explores the boundaries between the human and the animal, turning the body into a space of transformation, tension and resistance. Through movement, the piece summons ancient imaginaries that converse with the present, raising questions about identity, instinct and cultural memory. With strong visual impact, it creates a direct dialogue with the heritage space, where dance becomes a ritual of evocation, revealing what remains hidden in oral tradition and in the unwritten history of places.
