Available only in spanish La zarzuela ha sido históricamente un género híbrido, capaz de integrar música, teatro y crítica social dentro de una estructura flexible y popular. Desde el siglo XIX, su función fue la de reflejar la realidad sociocultural de su tiempo, articulando identidad territorial y expresión musical. En el contexto contemporáneo, el género enfrenta el reto de su actualización estructural y de su adaptación a nuevas dinámicas de producción cultural. Microzarzuela (marca registrada por Artífex Proart en la OEPM) se inscribe en esta evolución como una reformulación formal que mantiene los elementos esenciales — romanza, concertante, diálogo teatral y dramaturgia completa— pero adaptados a un formato breve, autosuficiente y fácilmente circulable. Este modelo permite conservar el patrimonio lírico desde la innovación estructural, garantizando continuidad histórica y sostenibilidad escénica.

The new facility that pays tribute to the Gran Canarian painter from Tamaraceite has six different environments distributed over three floors. Its classrooms, spaces for music, workshops or talks, its auditorium (with a capacity for 345 people), the youth area with a library that includes a reading room, study area and rooms for group work, as well as a multi-purpose room for exhibitions, is launched with an active programme that week after week will offer different proposals to the neighbours of the area, those from other neighbourhoods of the city and residents from other municipalities.
