The Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the International Theatre, Music and Dance Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with one of the festival's most eagerly awaited events: the iconic "Concert Among Containers", a unique experience that transforms the Port of La Luz container terminal into a spectacular open-air concert venue.

Under the baton of Karel Mark Chichon, the orchestra presents a musical journey inspired by destiny, freedom and the triumph of the human spirit, featuring masterpieces by Verdi, Richard Strauss, Sibelius and Stravinsky. The evening concludes with a vibrant, festive finale including Tico-Tico, Pérez Prado's Mambo and the traditional Radetzky March.

Thanks to the partnership between the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra and Boluda Corporación Marítima, the port's industrial landscape is once again transformed into an extraordinary stage where symphonic music meets cranes, shipping containers and the sea, creating one of the Festival's most distinctive and memorable events.
