Description
Plumáticas is a dance‑theatre piece that uses humour to draw a parallel between the upbringing of hens and women, highlighting the ongoing overexploitation both experience today. Through ideas such as domestication, spatial limits, role assignment, caregiving as a single imposed task, aesthetics as a virtue, and mutilation, the work turns tragedy into choreographic play and thoughtful commentary. Based on the premise woman‑hen / hen‑woman, the piece asks where each begins and ends, whether they share points of connection, and whether popular sayings and expressions mirror a patriarchal worldview. A work for all audiences that uses humour to open necessary questions.
