Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will welcome its most vibrant, participatory, and neighborhood-focused Christmas yet under the theme “Dream Christmas.” From 26 November to 4 December, the city will unveil spectacular lighting displays and festive decorations created especially for the season, featuring more than 4 million LED lights, three-dimensional structures, and visual experiences designed to transform streets, squares, and emblematic spaces into scenes of magic and emotion.
The festivities will begin in the neighborhoods before expanding throughout the city, from La Isleta to Jinámar. Iconic locations such as Santa Ana, Santa Catalina, Triana, Mesa y López, Plaza de España, and La Puntilla will showcase new large-scale installations, walk-through arches, artistic decorations, and luminous shows that invite residents and visitors to stroll and enjoy the season together.
Highlights include the Santa Catalina Christmas Market, the “House of Christmas,” gastronomic areas, amusement rides, an ice-skating rink, and a stage for concerts and performances. Additional elements will illuminate the districts: three-dimensional trees, giant walk-through ornaments, a six-meter angel, and energy-efficient figures designed to reach every neighborhood.
This Christmas, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria becomes a vast open-air cultural stage, inviting everyone to enjoy a unique visual program created to be experienced — and shared — in community.
